Beaches, coves and landscapes of the Costa Brava

Wine tourism in the Baix Empordà

From Hostal Blau we can find great wineries to discover and see how their wines are made.
Some are what we call DO Empordá and others are the country wines, which are still made in an artisanal and traditional way.

In Baix Empordà we can find the C'an Sais Winery, Mas Oller and in Alt Empordà La Vinyeta, Celler de la MasiaSerra, Vins and Cavas Perelada among many others.

Palau de Casavells

The Palau de Casavells is a building of three thousand square meters dating from the fourteenth century, fully restored. It is from the Miguel Alzueta Gallery, in its rooms we can see contemporary art and interior design antiques.

Hiking in the Empordà

Los Caminos de Ronda is the most beautiful way to get to know the coastline, almost 130 km of trails that border the Costa Brava.

Cycling in the Baix Empordà

Here in Baix Emporda there is a whole route designed and signposted so that you can get to know the most interesting places in the region pedaling by bicycle and enjoying these wonderful landscapes.

This cycling network is 250 kms and allows each person to organize their own itinerary.

A visit to Girona

Visiting the city of Girona is very interesting, 30 minutes from the hostel Blau, we arrive in this small town which has a wonderful old town, where you can see the spectacular Cathedral, the Church of San Felix, its medieval alleys of the Jewish quarter and , the Arab Baths, which served for the shooting of the great Game of Thrones series.

Throughout El Empordà we can visit a large number of museums, dedicated to different concepts.

Natural parks
